I have worked in the legal sector since 1987, and have specialised in writing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney since 2000.

I am a Chartered Legal Executive and a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Chartered Legal Executives are qualified lawyers who are regulated by CILEX, the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. STEP is the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues, whose members are experts in inheritance and succession planning. All Chartered Legal Executives and full STEP members must comply with their Codes of Conduct and undertake continuing professional education to ensure they are constantly updating their skills and knowledge.

I recognise that every client is different with a unique set of circumstances that require bespoke legal advice. I work closely with individuals and families to help them deal with their affairs. For some this may mean putting a simple Will in place to ensure the long-term financial security of the family. For others it may involve a more complex Will incorporating complex trust arrangements. For all, Lasting Powers of Attorney are important documents to have in place to ensure trusted persons chosen by you have the power to manage your financial and health decisions if you become unable to do so.
